Install Office 365 (On Personal Workstation) and setting up OneDrive to sync to your Computer

From the Office 365 home page, click Install Office apps > Office 2016.
Depending on your browser Click:
1. Run (in Edge or Internet Explorer)
2. Setup (In Chrome)

If you see the User Account Control prompt that says, do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? Click Yes.

3. The installation will start, this may take up to 15 minutes depending on the Internet connection.

4. Your installation is finished when you see the phrase, “You’re all set! The office is installed now”.

Activate Office

Start using an Office application right away by opening app such as Word or Excel. The office is activated once you start an application and after you click Accept to agree to the License terms.

OneDrive Setup

Check for the cloud icon in the notification area.
Click to open.

Click Search.
Type OneDrive and click OneDrive Desktop App.

Enter your EQ email address.
Click the Sign-in button.

3.Click Change location to setup the folder path.

4. Point location to D:\your username\Documents.

How to use OneDrive Files On-Demand

On-Demand is a feature that allows you to access your entire collection of files stored in the cloud using File Explorer without having to download them first to your device.

However, you’ll need an internet connection to open files that you don’t explicitly make available offline, or you didn’t already open.

You can enable OneDrive Files On-Demand using these steps:

Click the cloud icon in the notification area.

2. Click the three-dotted menu button in the top-right corner.

3. Click Settings.

4. Click the Settings tab.

5. Under “Files On-Demand,” check the ‘Save space and download files as you use them’ option.

Once you complete these steps, OneDrive Files On-Demand will be enable on your device. This should be done before syncing any shared files. If you sync shared files when the files are not on demand. Your hard-drive may fill up.
